Dua To Start Fast
O Allah, rectify for me my faith which is the safeguard of my affairs, rectify for me my world in which is my livelihood, rectify for me my hereafter in which is my ultimate return. O Allah, make light in my heart, in my eyesight, in my hearing, to my right, to my left, above me and below me. O Allah, grant me light

A dua is a prayer or supplication to Allah. In Islam, fasting is an obligation and an act of worship. Before beginning a fast, Muslims often recite a dua, or prayer, to seek Allah’s blessing and guidance as they embark on their spiritual journey. The dua to start a fast is a short prayer that is traditionally recited before beginning the fast. It is a way to ask Allah for guidance, mercy, and protection during the fast.
The dua also serves to remind the individual of the importance of the fast and the rewards that await for those who observe it. The dua to start a fast is typically recited in the morning before sunrise. It is a simple prayer that consists of thanking Allah for the opportunity to fast, asking for protection and guidance, and seeking forgiveness for any sins committed. The exact wording of the dua may vary depending on the individual, but the sentiment remains the same.
Fasting is an important part of the Islamic faith and is a way to strengthen one’s relationship with Allah. Beginning a fast with a dua is a way to ask Allah for guidance and protection while embarking on this spiritual journey.
