Hadith On Hijama

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If anyone of you wants to do Hajama then let him not speak or narrate (any evil thing i.e. backbiting, etc.)".

A Hadith is a saying or an act of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that is recorded in Islamic literature. The Hadith on Hijama is a saying of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that encourages the practice of cupping or Hijama, which is a form of traditional medicine in which heated cups are placed on the skin in order to draw out impurities.

The Hadith on Hijama states, “Indeed in cupping (Hijama) is a cure.” (Sunan Abi Dawud) This Hadith is a reminder of the importance of the practice of cupping and its potential healing properties. Cupping has been used for thousands of years in many cultures to treat a variety of conditions, from muscle pain to headaches and even fever.

Recent studies have also shown that cupping can be an effective form of pain relief and can be used to improve overall health and well-being. The Hadith on Hijama is an important reminder of the power of traditional medicine and is a reminder of the importance of looking to our roots to find healing.
