Janaza Dua
O Allah, forgive [name of the person] and elevate his station among those who are guided. Send him along the path of those who came before, and forgive us and him, O Lord of the worlds. Enlarge for him his grave and shed light upon him in it.
Muslim 2:634

This is a dua, or prayer, in Islamic tradition. The person is asking Allah to forgive a specific individual, named in the dua, and to elevate their station among those who are guided. The person is also asking Allah to guide the individual along the path of the righteous who came before them, and to forgive both the person making the dua and the person named in the dua.
The dua also includes a request for Allah to enlarge the grave of the named individual, and to shed light upon them in it, which is a metaphor for granting them a comfortable and peaceful afterlife. This dua expresses the belief that forgiveness, guidance and salvation in the afterlife are all gifts from Allah, and that by asking for them in prayer, one is acknowledging the dependence on Allah and seeking His mercy and blessings for the deceased.
This dua asks God to forgive the deceased person, have mercy on them, and heal them. It also asks for the deceased to be washed with water, snow, and ice, and to be purified of their sins. Janaza dua is an important part of the Islamic funeral ritual, and is believed to bring comfort and solace to the loved ones of the deceased. It is also believed to be a means of seeking the mercy and forgiveness of God for the deceased.
