Prophets Hadith

الْمُسْلِمُ أَخُو الْمُسْلِمِ، لاَ يَظْلِمُهُ وَلاَ يُسْلِمُهُ

Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said, “A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim, so he should not oppress him,
Sahih al-Bukhari 2442

A Hadith is a saying or an act of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that was recorded by his companions. It is a source of guidance for Muslims and can be used as a reference to understand Islamic principles. Hadith are categorized into two main types: ahad (plural ahadeeth) and mutawatir (plural mutawatir). Ahad Hadith are singlenarrated reports, while mutawatir Hadith are multiplenarrated reports that come from a large number of independent sources. Hadith are essential for understanding the Quran. They provide a deeper understanding of the Islamic beliefs, values, and practices. Hadith are also used as a source of legal rulings and to help guide Muslims in their everyday life. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:The best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad.” Hadith are not sacred texts like the Quran, but they are still highly respected and authoritative. Many Hadith have been authenticated and are accepted by all major schools of thought. It is important to remember that not all Hadith are accepted as authentic and should be verified before applying them to one‘s life.
